John joined AB&Co. in 1984 and was admitted as a shareholder in 1992. He practices in the firms attestation division where he provides audit and management advisory services. John has developed a specialization in serving financial institutions, wholesalers, contractors, ERISA plans, real estate developers, and individual proprietorships. In addition, he serves various clients in the not-for-profit and professional services arena.

John is a Deacon at Morningview Baptist Church where he also served as Past Secretary of Deacons. He currently serves on the Selection Committee of the Jimmy Hitchcock Memorial Award and is a softball coach for the Amateur Softball Association and Dixie Youth. In addition, he is past treasurer of the St. James School PTO and past president of the Capitol City Sertoma Club. Johns professional affiliations include his memberships in the Alabama Bankers Association, the AICPA, and the ASCPA, where he served as the former chairman of the Financial Institutions Committee.

John graduated from Troy State University in 1979 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration.
